Event details

About

Hub City Tattoo Expo is a three-day show held each October at the Moncton Coliseum Complex in Moncton, New Brunswick, using Agrena halls A and B. It is hosted by Brad Dawe of Hell or High Water Tattoos, a Moncton shop, rather than by an events company. Aggregator listings put the floor at around 100 exhibitors, covering tattooers, vendors and musicians.

For a working artist the appeal is a shop-run show at a manageable scale in a market that does not get many of them. Competitions run across the weekend. Admission is deliberately low and door-only: $15 a day or $35 for the weekend, cash only, with children 12 and under entering at no charge, which keeps walk-up traffic moving rather than filtering it by ticket price.

What to expect

Best for

Artists covering the Atlantic provinces who want a shop-run October show at a scale they can actually work through.

Notable: Run by a working Moncton tattoo shop rather than an events company, with cash-only admission at the door.
