About
The Charlotte Tattoo Arts Convention is a three-day event produced by Villain Arts, one of the largest traveling tattoo convention promoters in the United States. Held at the Park Expo (Liberty Hall) on Briar Creek Road, it gathers a large roster of tattoo artists who work on-site throughout the weekend, alongside vendors selling tattoo supplies, art, and merchandise.
The convention returns each March; the 4th annual edition was held March 21-23, 2025. Beyond tattooing, the program includes daily tattoo contests, live entertainment such as contortionists, fire performers, sword swallowers, and acrobats, plus piercing and other body-art services.
