About
The New England Tattoo Expo is organized by Tom Ringwalt alongside Steve Tefft, winner of Ink Master Season 2, and runs each April at the Mohegan Sun Expo Center in Uncasville, Connecticut. The 2026 edition (its 6th) has already been held, and the show is confirmed to return April 9-11, 2027, bringing 600+ tattoo artists, 60+ vendors and an estimated 10,000+ attendees to the casino resort.
For working artists, the expo offers the same destination-casino foot traffic as its October sibling but in the spring slot, effectively giving the region two major Mohegan Sun shows a year. Steve Tefft's Ink Master profile adds draw, while daily tattoo competitions and a dense, vendor-rich floor make it a strong booth for filling appointments, moving merchandise and connecting with the wider New England tattoo community.
