About
Presented by El Paso shop Done N Cane Tattoo & Piercing, the Inkers Tattoo Expo is the El Paso edition of the Southwest Inkers touring series, which runs shows across Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. The El Paso show returns September 11-13, 2026 at the Starlight Event Center for its sixth annual edition, featuring top artists, piercers, vendors, and live performances.
For working artists, El Paso is a distinct border-city market that sits outside the orbit of the big central-Texas conventions, giving the show a captive regional audience with little local competition. Being part of a multi-state series also means artists can build a relationship with one organizer and plug into Inkers stops across the Southwest, turning a single booking into a regional circuit.

For artists: booths, applications, hours
Inkers Tattoo Expo runs its El Paso edition, branded Edge of Texas Tattoo Expo, on September 11-13, 2026 at the Starlight Event Center, 6650 Continental Dr, El Paso, Texas 79925. Doors are open Friday 3pm to 11pm, Saturday 11am to 11pm, and Sunday 11am to 8pm in 2026, about 29 working hours across the weekend.
An artist booth costs $700 for 2026 and covers a 10 by 10 foot space; a vendor booth is $500. The organizer publishes no other booth details, and the site shows no tiered rate, early pricing or deposit terms. Booking runs through the phone numbers listed on the event site; there is no application form, online portal or portfolio review.
Attendance is walk-up: tickets are $20 for one day and $40 for the weekend in 2026, paid at the door, with no online sales. The show has run yearly since 2021, and the 2025 edition, held September 26-28, was the first at this venue. Parking at the venue is at no charge, in the garage in the same building, across the street from El Paso International Airport.
Texas charges $464 for a Temporary Tattoo Studio license on its 2024 health department fee schedule, and the organizer does not state who files it.
Notable: It is one stop in the Inkers series that also runs expos across New Mexico and Arizona.
