About

Founded in 2023 (the inaugural edition ran in fall 2023, and the event has been held each November since 2024), The Allstars Tattoo Convention is staged at the Miami-Dade Fairgrounds. Organized by Emilio Gonzalez and his team, it gathers world-class tattoo artists across a range of styles for a three-day weekend of live tattooing, judged competitions, and entertainment. The 2025 edition ran November 14-16 and the 2026 edition is set for November 13-15, confirming the event as an active, recurring fixture on Florida's convention calendar.

Beyond the booths, the convention leans into spectacle with daily suspension performances by Emilio Gonzalez and his Misfits, live music, a juried art show, a live graffiti expo, and a Saturday car-and-bike showcase. The Allstars Tattoo Convention runs November 13-15, 2026 at the Miami-Dade Fairgrounds, 10901 SW 24th St, Miami, FL 33165. Doors open at noon each day; November 14 runs to midnight and November 15 to 10 PM.

No 2026 booth price is published. In 2025 a single artist booth cost $750 for a 5' x 10' space and included an artist pass, a VIP parking pass, a guest pass, a table and two foldable chairs; a two-artist booth cost $1,500 for 10' x 10' with each item doubled. The 2026 form caps a booth at two artists.

Anyone tattooing at the 2026 show needs a valid Tattoo Artist Practitioner license from the Florida Department of Health; a guest license covers only the requested dates, up to 14 days. Licensing paperwork is due by October 1, 2026. In 2026 the state license fee is $125, plus $80 for the convention's package that covers the bloodborne pathogens course and courier delivery of the paperwork to the Health Department.

Booths are requested through the site's artist and vendor form, which requires an Instagram handle. The organizer reviews the application and responds about availability; registration instructions follow approval, and payment is by bank wire, domestic or international, to the organizing company. Contests are open to attending artists, with separate Friday, Saturday and Sunday competitions.

Notable: Founder Emilio Gonzalez performs daily body-suspension shows with his Misfits crew, a signature draw that sets this convention apart.
