Held annually at the Salt Palace Convention Center in downtown Salt Lake City, the Salt Lake City Tattoo Expo gathers more than 500 invitation-only artists representing well over a hundred shops from across the U.S. and abroad, with international talent traveling from countries including Australia, South Korea, the Netherlands, Sweden, Iceland, Switzerland, the UK, and Japan. The 2026 edition, running March 6-8, marks the convention's 23rd annual show (the 2025 edition was the 22nd annual).

The expo spans a broad range of styles, from American Traditional and Black & Gray to Fine Line, Realism, and Japanese, in a vetted, family-friendly setting alongside art and food vendors. For working artists it matters as the largest tattoo gathering in the Mountain West region, offering three days of juried competitions, booth exposure, and direct access to clients booking in advance or walking up.
