VOID Tattoo Fest is a curated, artist-run convention created by Portland tattooers and shop owners Brian Wilson and Olivia Britz-Wheat, built around uplifting artists and celebrating diversity in the trade. Rather than a standard expo floor, the event takes over the Jupiter Hotel, converting roughly two dozen guest rooms into intimate mini-studios with a handful of tattooers each and using a small ballroom to house even more, drawing more than 120 invited artists from around the world.

Education sits at the center of the weekend, with sessions structured to help Oregon tattooers earn the continuing-education credits required for annual license renewal. Alongside the tattooing, attendees find art shows, creative vendors, and curated food trucks, giving the second-edition fest a boutique, gallery-like feel that sets it apart from larger arena conventions.
